Need for Speed: Shift PS3 is an adrenaline pumping high octane racing series and the 13th installment from the extremely popular series, Need for Speed. By retaining the touring-car simulation style, players can experience a more realistic feel for the car. PS3 Need for Speed: Shift doesn't have a script or anything like other games. It just gives you some pure adrenaline pumping car racing all the way. Once you begin the career mode, the player is advised to do a round of the track to check the settings of the car. The player is able to proceed to the NFS Live World Series after completion of the laps and can earn money and unlock new levels. Need for Speed Shift for PS3 will take racing to an all new level.

You can choose from a variety of 60+ cars which are divided into four types, ranging from average cars such as Audi TT, cars based on performance such as BMW M3, super cars like the Lamborghini and finally, hyper cars like the Bugatti Veyron. Need for Speed: Shift PlayStation 3 also gives you the option for customization wherein you can build your very own car with the specifications you want such as the cosmetics, the performance modes, alignment, aerodynamics of the car, accessories like tires, brakes and gears. In all, there 19 tracks that you can race which also include a few real world circuits to make this game more fun and realistic.
